FAQs of Video Blur AI

  • How to register AVCLabs Video Blur AI?

Click the Key icon or the Menu icon (on the upper right) > Register. There will be a registration popup dialog, where you can copy and paste the registration email and license code.

  • Assign Faces and Free-form Selection: What's the difference?

Both Assign Faces and Free-form Selection aim at blurring a specified face out of multiple faces. The difference lies in the way they interact: Assign Faces first waits for the entire video to be scanned and then selects the face to be blurred among all the scanned faces, while Free-form Selection is faster and more intuitive, allowing users to select faces by clicking selection boxes on the homepage.

  • What can I do if non-face areas are blurred when blurring faces?

Click the Menu button (on the upper right) > Settings, switch to Model Settings, and increase the value of the Detection Precision under Face Settings. The higher the value, the more accurate the face scan will be.

  • What if some license plates aren't recognized and not blurred?

Method 1: Click the Menu button (on the upper right) > Settings, and switch to Model Settings. Scroll down to the License Plate Settings and reduce the Detection Accuracy to detect more license plates.

Note: Increasing the value Detection Accuracy enhances the precision of license plate recognition. However, setting it too high might overlook some license plates with less distinctive features. Conversely, reducing the value can detect more license plates, but setting it too low might misidentify non-license plate objects as plates.

Method 2: Use the Fixed Blur function to blur missing license plates.

  • Can't save 360-degree video in its original format after processing?

AVCLabs Video Blur AI does not support outputting 360-degree video currently. Support for this feature will be available in a future update!

  • What's the limitation of the trial version?

In the trial version, you can blur 3 video files for free with a watermark. And you can purchase the full version to unlock this limitation.

  • How to speed up video processing if it takes too long?

    1) Upgrade your device. Check detailed info about System Requirements

    2) If you have an NVIDIA graphics card, click the Menu button (in the upper right corner) > Settings > Advanced Settings and turn on NVIDIA TensorRT Acceleration to speed up the video process.

    3) Adjust the Face Comparison Accuracy to Speed First. How to set it: Click the Menu button (in the upper right corner) > Settings > Model Settings, and you will find it under Face Settings.

    4) Feedback to our technical support team at [email protected], and we will optimize the AI model.

  • How to fix it if some faces aren't recognized and thus not blurred?

Method 1: Click the Menu button (on the upper right) > Settings, switch to Model Settings, and reduce the value of Detection Precision under Face Settings. The lower the value, the more faces can be recognized.

Method 2: Use the Fixed Blur feature to blur missing faces or parts.

  • How to avoid blurring unintended areas when blurring license plates?

To resolve this problem, adjust the Detection Accuracy setting for license plates. Go to the Menu button (in the upper right corner) > Settings > Model Settings. Scroll down to License Plate Settings and increase the Detection Accuracy value accordingly.

Note: Increasing the value Detection Accuracy enhances the precision of license plate recognition. However, setting it too high might overlook some license plates with less distinctive features. Conversely, reducing the value can detect more license plates, but setting it too low might misidentify non-license plate objects as plates.

  • What should I do if component installation times out and fails?

Delete folders under C:\AIEnhancer\, reselect the installation directory, and download again. Or turn off the firewall or antivirus software and download again.
